This week’s photowalk was another quick stop on the way home from work. This time I walked the small nature trail at Deer Park in Newport News. Again, most shots were taken with my 50mm prime.

Week three’s photowalk was to the Noland Trail in Newport News. I started on the Lion’s Bridge size and walked the trail for twenty minutes or so before heading back to catch the sunset on the James River. I shot with just my 50mm again which I am finding more versatile than I thought it would be.

My second photowalk was a little warmer than the first, although not by much. The location was Sandy Bottom Nature Park in Hampton, Virginia. All shots taken with my new 50mm prime lens – probably not going to be my default photowalk lens but I wanted to see how it did.

my first photowalk was a quick stop at Huntington Park/Beach in Newport News, VA. It was freezing outside with a sustained wind so I wasn’t out very long.

Having completed my Project365 for last year, I’ve decided to try something else this year – 52 Photowalks. My plan is to go somewhere once a week and take pictures. I’m not sure if I’ll actually be “walking” each week but I’ll try to get out and about.
